Step 1:
Free 15-Minute Phone Consultation
Taking the first step towards therapy is a significant and courageous decision. At Free of Mind Psychotherapy, we want to make this process seamless and supportive. We offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to help you determine if our services are the right fit for your needs. During this consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, ask questions, and learn more about our therapeutic approach.
This initial conversation lets us get to know you better and ensures that you feel comfortable and confident moving forward with us.
Step 2:
Insurance Verification
After the consultation, our team will work with you to verify your insurance coverage. We understand that navigating insurance can be overwhelming, so we handle this process for you. We will contact your insurance provider to confirm your benefits, check if mental health services are covered, and determine your out-of-pocket costs, if any. If your insurance is accepted, we will provide you with a clear understanding of your coverage before your first session.

Financial considerations should not hinder receiving high-quality care, so we are happy to discuss payment plans or sliding scale fees based on your financial situation.

Scheduling Your First Session
Once insurance verification is complete or payment arrangements are made, we will schedule your first therapy session at a convenient time. Whether you choose in-person sessions or telehealth, we strive to offer flexible scheduling that fits your life.
During your first session, you’ll begin to explore your goals for therapy and work with your therapist to develop a personalized treatment plan.
